The New Balance 1906R Charlotte Hornets adds a colorway of aqua, purple, and black with metallic silver details to honor the Charlotte Hornets.
The Charlotte Hornets New Balance 1906R, a technical running shoe, features the 1906R’s typical clear aesthetic with a breathable, open-hole mesh upper in off-white and supportive synthetic leather overlays. Aqua adds pops of color on the heel pull tab, the eyelet lace loops, sections of the midsole, the New Balance ‘N,’ and the 1906R lettering. The sneaker also features purple details on the overlays and the outsole. Finding inspiration in New Balance’s highly technical heritage, this sneaker incorporates elements found in the 2002R and the second version of the 860.
Despite the sneaker’s themed color accents, it remains a function-first shoe with ABZORB SBS pods in the heel, ACTEVA LITE cushioning, and N-ergy gel.
