The New Balance 2002R Black Gunmetal is a performance running shoe with interior technical features inspired by the MR2002.
The sneaker boasts a breathable mesh upper with cut-out suede and leather overlays. Suede detailing can also be found on the heel and forming the mudguard. Although the shoe features ABZORB SBS pods in the heel for increased energy return and an ABZORB midsole for added cushioning, it appears light. Another element that makes the sneaker stand out is the black-on-grey colorway of Gunmetal, Phantom, and Black, which creates a stealthy look. In terms of branding, the New Balance "N" graces the lateral side panel, and "2002R" can be found on the mesh upper.
