This design recreates the dial of the very first Seikosha pocket watch, known as the Timekeeper, launched in 1895. Under a dual-curve sapphire crystal glass is a white enamel dial, lined with a railtrack design around its circumference, accented by roman numerals inspired by the original Seikosha pocket watch. From a distance, the slim and stylish nostalgic numerals seem like baton indices, increasing legibility even further whilst the stainless steel case of this craftsmanship piece is finished with a super-hard coating for increased scratch resistance. The accompanying black calf leather strap is sourced and certified from a LWG-certified tanner. The Leather Working Group is an international certification organisation that aims to create a sustainable leather production environment.
