The Saucony Grid Shadow 2 Jae Tips What's the Occasion? Wear To A Date represents a collaboration between the sneaker company and the Bronx rapper and sneaker aficionado.
The Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 "Wear To A Date" installment of the What's The Occasion? pack is a colorful and eclectic sneaker. The upper has a base of royal blue mesh overlaid with teal nubuck at the collar, midfoot, and eyestays. Lighter blue mesh and nubuck overlay the side panel and toe cap, while greenish-blue suede in jagged waves forms the mudguard. The molded magenta eyelets provide contrast to the light pink Saucony side-panel cutout, which matches the light pink foam midsole. All this rests atop a lugged rubber outsole of teal, black, and light pink.
Our favorite part of this vibrant sneaker is the branding, which is dual on the heel and insoles. The outer forefoot overlay has "Forever" embroidered in magenta, which matches the Saucony Grid branding on the tongue. And finally, a Saucony wave is embossed on the outsole.
