The New Balance 990v6 MiUSA Teddy Santis White Black Plum is a shoe designed as a collaboration between the brand and designer and Internet personality Teddy Santis.
This iteration of the New Balance 990v6 features a white textile upper as the base. Synthetic overlays cross the upper in black, while the companys logo, a letter "N," appears on each side in a Black Plum (dark purple) color. A dark tan suede overlay forms the large toe cap, another forms the heel counter, and a lighter tan forms the mudguard in the middle. 990 branding is seen on the lateral heel counter, while Made in the USA branding is on the heel's back. The tongue bears a New Balance 990 patch. The shoe sits on a chunky tan and white midsole and black outsole.
What stands out about this shoe is the contrast between the black and dark purple and the tans of the bottom of the shoe.
