The New Balance 998 Core MiUSA Grey Silver is part of New Balances Made In USA collection. It is also an updated version of the 998, the first shoe that featured NBs ABZORB technology, originally released in 1993.
The sneaker features a back-to-basics colorway of Grey and Silver, with pops of white on the laces and the tongue branding. The upper offers a mesh and pigskin suede construction with reinforced white stitching. Plastic elements support the eyelets at the top of the lace cage and the area beneath the collar. The shoe displays straightforward branding, including "998 NEW BALANCE MADE IN USA" embroidered onto the tongue and "ABZORB" embossed on the midsole.
