The ASICS Gel-1130 White Shark Skin is a stability running shoe with design details that mimic the pattern of shark skin.
Finding inspiration in the Gel-KAYANO 14 and other sneakers in the Gel-1000 catalog, the Gel-1130 White Shark Skin boasts a breathable mesh upper. Unlike previous iterations, this model incorporates synthetic leather instead of genuine leather in the overlays. When light hits the synthetic overlays, it produces a silvery sheen that is reminiscent of shark skin. Splashes of silver also add to the sneaker’s open ocean aesthetic. Other notable elements include gel technology in the heel, which provides responsive cushioning and protects against impact on hard materials such as pavement. The sneaker also houses ASICS’ signature Trusstic support system, which improves stability and can be found in many 2000s running shoes.
