The White Red New Balance 1906R sports an upper with a base of white mesh. Synthetic white leather overlays cross the upper, adding both style and structural support. A gray synthetic heel counter stabilizes the foot and sports NB branding. The red side-panel N features N-Lock branding. The mesh tongue sports NB Running branding, and the gray laces match the gray sock liner, completing the aesthetic of this upper.
But what we appreciate most about this running shoe is the high-octane sole unit. The tannish-gray ABZORB midsole also features ABZORB SBS in the heel and N-ergy, providing springy cushioning and energy return. The gum-rubber outsole absorbs impact and provides traction on both the road and track.
