XLG Runner Deluxe vs. XLG Metawave: which one should I grab first?

The Runner Deluxe is the cleaner, more versatile pick. Its tonal panelling reads well with chinos or track pants. The Metawave has a more aggressive colour-blocked upper, better for statement fits. If you're buying one XLG as a daily rotation piece, the Deluxe is the easier wear.

How does Adidas XLG sizing run for Indian buyers?

XLG runs true to size on the length, but the volume through the midfoot is generous due to the padded collar and plush tongue. If you have a narrow foot, size down half a UK. Wider feet will find the standard size comfortable without break-in.

Does the oversized sole on the XLG hold up on Indian roads and pavements?

The XLG outsole uses a thick rubber compound that handles tarmac and stone well. The chunky stack does pick up dust faster than a flat-soled shoe, so a quick wipe after city wear keeps the midsole looking fresh. The upper mesh is open-weave, so avoid monsoon puddles.
