Which eyeshadow palettes do you recommend first, and why?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam II Mini Eyeshadow Palette is the most flexible pick because its mini size keeps the choice simple while retaining the Soft Glam identity. Choose Sultry Mini for a different palette mood, or Soft Glam for the larger option.

Would these work for a long haul flight?

The mini palettes are the more practical companions for travel because their names and size keep them compact. Sultry Mini, Haze Mini and Modern Renaissance Mini give you distinct options without carrying the larger Soft Glam palette.

How do the mini palettes differ from Soft Glam?

Sultry, Embers, Soft Glam II, Modern Renaissance, Haze and Spice are all Mini Eyeshadow Palettes. Soft Glam appears as a full Eyeshadow Palette, so the main practical difference is the palette size.
