Chuck 70 or All Star BB Evo: which Converse should a first time buyer pick?

The Chuck 70 is the closer relative to the classic canvas silhouette most Indian buyers already know, just built on thicker soling. The All Star BB Evo is a basketball inspired shape with a completely different, chunkier profile, better suited if you want something less traditional.

How do these collaboration Converse pairs work in Indian college or streetwear looks?

The Carhartt WIP and Isabel Marant Chuck 70 versions carry enough print or texture to work as a statement shoe with plain jeans or joggers. Keep the rest of the outfit simple so the collaboration detailing on the upper stays the focal point.

How long does a canvas Converse upper last in Indian monsoon conditions?

Canvas soaks through quickly in heavy rain and takes a while to dry, so keep Chucks for dry weather and switch to a synthetic or leather sneaker during the wettest monsoon weeks. Spot clean canvas with a soft brush rather than soaking it.

Do the higher end collaboration Chucks run differently in size than the standard Chuck Taylor?

Collaboration builds like the Carhartt WIP Chuck 70 use the same last as the standard Chuck 70, which already runs slightly larger than a classic Chuck Taylor. If you normally wear a classic Chuck Taylor, consider going half a size down for the Chuck 70 line.
