Which Gentle Monster frame should I start with?

The Jackie 01 is the safest first frame: a rounded square that suits most face shapes without going full oversized. If you want the bolder, flatter look the brand is known for, the Dada 01 and Lang 01 lean harder into it.

Do Gentle Monster frames fit wider faces and lower nose bridges?

Yes, better than most western labels. Gentle Monster designs on Asian fit standards, so nose pads sit higher and temples run slightly wider. The Heizer Square in particular holds well on lower nose bridges without sliding through sweaty commutes.

How do I keep acetate frames from warping in Indian summers?

Never leave them on a car dashboard, where cabin heat crosses the temperature acetate tolerates. Store them in the hard case, rinse salt and sweat off with cool water after long days out, and dry them with the supplied cloth.

What is the difference between the Jackie 01 and Jackie G3?

Same frame, different lens. The 01 runs a solid black lens, while the G3 carries a grey gradient that shows your eyes and reads softer indoors. Pick the G3 if you want one pair to work in cafes as well as daylight.
