Ace sneaker or Original Gucci slide: where should a first time buyer start?

The Ace sneaker in a plain black or bee print is the more versatile daily shoe for Indian streetwear and smart casual looks. The Original Gucci slide is a warm weather, low commitment option, better suited to a second pair for travel or at home wear.

How does the Ace sneaker's bee and stars detailing fit into Indian outfits?

The Bee and Bees and Stars prints work best as the statement piece with otherwise plain denim or trousers, since the embroidery already carries visual weight. The plain black Ace GG version is the safer, quieter daily option for office adjacent looks.

How should the leather on the Ace sneaker be cared for in Indian humidity?

Wipe the leather down after each wear during humid months to prevent surface mould on the embroidered sections, and store with shoe trees to hold shape. Avoid direct monsoon exposure since the embroidery threads can fray if soaked repeatedly.

Does the adidas x Gucci Gazelle fit the same as a standard adidas Gazelle?

Yes, it uses adidas' standard Gazelle last, so order your usual adidas size rather than Gucci sizing. The canvas GG upper on the collaboration is slightly stiffer out of the box than the standard suede Gazelle and needs a short break in period.
