Which Oran colourway should I buy first?

Beige or Noir. Beige disappears into warm Indian skin tones and summer wardrobes, while Noir is the year round default that works with everything from linen trousers to sarees. Colour pieces like Rose Grenade work best as a second pair.

Do Orans work with Indian occasion wear?

Beautifully. The flat H strap sits as naturally under a saree or kurta set as it does with resort wear, and slips off cleanly at venues where footwear comes off. Gold Noir in particular pulls double duty across festive and evening looks.

How does Oran sizing run?

Narrow and true to length in EU sizing. If your foot is wide, go up a size so the leather strap does not bite across the instep. The leather sole moulds slightly with wear, and the strap relaxes a little over the first month.

How do I keep leather soles alive in Indian conditions?

Treat Orans as dry weather sandals. Avoid standing water, wipe dust off with a soft cloth, and let them rest a day between wears so the leather breathes. A cobbler can add a thin rubber half sole for grip without changing the profile.
