Which hobo bag should I buy first?

The Polene Nodde in cognac is the crowd-pleaser: sculptural without being loud, and the smooth leather ages warmly. If you want a more structured slouch with harder-wearing hardware, the Balenciaga Locker medium in black is the step-up piece.

Do hobos work for Indian office wear or are they weekend bags?

The cleaner shapes cross over easily. A Nodde in black or stone reads polished against workwear, and the opening is wide enough for a small tablet and pouch. Save the nylon Paperclip and brighter finishes for weekends and travel days.

How do I keep a soft leather hobo from losing its shape?

Slouch is the point, but store it stuffed with tissue or a small cushion so the base does not crease flat. Alternate shoulders through heavy-carry weeks, and condition smooth leather like the Nodde twice a year, after and before monsoon.

Hobo or tote: which carries daily essentials better?
