Which of these new women's pairs should I start with?

The AJ1 Low Particle Beige is the quiet workhorse that pairs with everything from dresses to denim. If you want the pair that gets asked about, the Jordan 4 Oil Green and the Speedcat Ballet in Rose White are the two turning heads right now.

How do the pastel colourways hold up in Indian conditions?

Shades like Sunset Haze and Indigo Haze stay fresh if you rotate pairs and keep a suede brush handy; dust wipes off leather panels easily. Through monsoon, lead with darker pairs like Oil Green and save pastels for dry days and indoor plans.

Is women's sizing here different from picking a small men's size?

Yes. Women's pairs are built on a narrower last with a slimmer heel, not just scaled down, so the fit through the midfoot is noticeably better than sizing down in men's. If you are between sizes in Jordans and Dunks, go half up.

Vomero 5 or Speedcat Ballet: which suits daily wear?

Opposite ends of the same trend. The Vomero 5 is cushioned and chunky, ideal for long days on your feet. The Speedcat Ballet is flat, low, and fashion-first, best for outfits over errands. Comfort-first buyers take the Vomero.
