Flat mule or wedge heel mule: which should I buy first?

The Gucci Princetown flat mule is easier for daily wear and long standing hours at work. The Boss wedge heel mule adds height for evening or dressier occasions. Pick a flat mule first if you want an everyday shoe, the wedge if you need occasion wear.

Do mules work with Indian office and monsoon commute needs?

Flat leather mules like the Princetown slip on and off easily for office days with frequent shoe removal, common in many Indian workplaces. Avoid open back mules on heavy monsoon days since splashback wets the foot faster than a closed shoe.

How does mule sizing run since there is no ankle strap to hold the foot?

Mules typically need a truer, snugger fit than lace up shoes since there is nothing securing the heel. Most Indian buyers size down half a size from their sneaker size to avoid the foot sliding forward during walking.

How do I keep the leather and embroidery on mules clean through Indian dust?

Wipe leather uppers with a dry cloth after each wear and use a leather conditioner monthly to prevent cracking in dry weather. Embroidered pieces like the Gucci Princetown need spot cleaning only; avoid rubbing directly over thread work to prevent loosening.
