Which Yeezy silhouettes are rope laces designed for?

Rope laces are the factory lace type on most Yeezy 350 and 700 silhouettes. They are also used as a styling swap on Yeezy 500s and other closed-eyelet silhouettes. KM carries reflective versions that are a direct functional upgrade on the OG rope.

What makes reflective rope laces different from standard ones?

Reflective rope laces have light-catching fibres woven into the braid that activate under artificial light and flash photography. The effect is subtle in daylight and pronounced at night, which is why they have become popular for event and nighttime setups.

Can rope laces be used on non-Yeezy sneakers?

Yes. Rope laces work on any sneaker with small rounded eyelets, including some New Balance models and select Nike running silhouettes. They do not work as well on wide flat eyelets designed for flat laces, as the aglet may not thread cleanly.

How do I keep braided rope laces from fraying at the ends?

Most braided rope laces come with sealed aglets. If the aglet cracks or falls off, seal the end with a small amount of clear nail polish or fabric glue and allow it to dry completely before threading. This prevents the braid from unravelling at the tip.
