Which watches should I start with?

Tissot PRC 100 Solar 39mm is the stronger first look if you prefer a more visible wrist presence. The 34mm version suits a smaller, more compact feel. Both share the Solar model identity, so size is the main practical decision.

Would this suit a long haul flight?

The Tissot PRC 100 Solar works well for a long haul flight when you want one straightforward watch on the wrist. Choose 39mm for a more noticeable presence, or 34mm when a compact fit feels more comfortable during travel.

What is the difference between 34mm and 39mm?

The 34mm and 39mm versions differ in case size, with 39mm giving more wrist presence and 34mm keeping the proportions smaller. The Solar identity remains the same, so the choice is primarily about how the watch sits on your wrist.
