What's the best starter sneaker under ₹15K in India right now?

The Adidas Samba OG at around ₹7,499–₹7,999 is the crowd-pick starter — versatile silhouette, pairs with every fit, ages well. Entry Dunk Lows and Nike Gamma Force in the ₹3,799–₹10K range are the next picks. For a first sneaker, Samba OG Black or OG White is the safest call.

What does the ₹15K ceiling actually buy across Samba, Dunks, and entry Nikes?

₹15K covers the full current Samba OG and Gazelle line, Yeezy Slides, entry Nike models like Court Vision and Gamma Force, select lower-tier Dunk Lows and Air Force 1s, plus New Balance 550-tier pairs. What it doesn't cover: Jordan 1 Highs, Jordan 4s, collabs, and anything Travis Scott — those start above the ceiling.

What do I gain scaling from ₹15K to ₹25K?

The ₹15K-to-₹25K jump unlocks the full Jordan 1 Mid range, entry Jordan 1 Lows, hyped Dunk Low colourways, New Balance 2002R / 9060, and core Nike Air Force 1 pairs. You're moving from terrace-and-entry silhouettes into basketball-OG and premium runner territory — where most serious rotations live.
