As part of the Way Of Wade line, this version of the Way of Wade Shadow 6 is the brainchild of NBA legend Dwayne Wade and Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning. It features Li-Ning’s signature Boom technology, a lightweight foam that delivers superior cushioning and energy return in the midsole. The upper is made from a combination of synthetic materials and supportive TPU elements with perforations that allow the foot to breathe. In addition, the grooves on the rubber outsole provide grippy, multidirectional traction, while the front lace closure system creates a locked-in feel.
Although Dwayne Wade is the primary inspiration behind the basketball shoe, it was also endorsed by NBA player D'Angelo Russell.
