At the time of release, the Timberwolf New Balance 480 was marketed as an affordable, everyday option in the New Balance catalog. Despite its original low price point, the sneaker offers premium materials. Inspired by the OG BB680, this sneaker boasts a layered leather composition—a white base with overlays in Timberwolf. In addition, the New Balance "N" decorates the side panels and forms the third layer. Branding details include "NB 480" displayed on the woven tongue tag and "New Balance" printed on the heel tab in white.
