The New Balance 860v2 Aime Leon Dore Blue sneaker is a collaborative effort between New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore. New Balance hired Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore, to be the creative director for their MADE in USA line that launched in 2021.
The shoe nods to each company in its design. It has New Balance’s iconic "N" logo set against the backdrop of a cream mesh upper with silver and tan overlays. It also has "Aimé Leon Dore" inscribed on the sneaker’s tongue, as well as Aimé Leon Dore’s floral motif on the heel.
