The Nike Air Huarache Black Anthracite Heel Tab (Women's) celebrates the 30th anniversary of the original Huarache, which was inspired by the secure fit of water-skiing booties.
Like the original model, the 2021 women’s variation boasts a bootie-like fit and a heel clip. The upper is made from a black synthetic material that looks and feels like neoprene but is slightly lighter. Black leather overlays cross the upper and create a lace cage housing black laces and two lines of eyelets on each side. This lightweight running shoe offers a low-cut design with an exaggerated foam midsole. A rubber outsole wraps the midsole, creating additional traction and a futuristic look. The Huarache emblem on the tongue pays homage to the sneaker’s heritage without distracting from the design.
